Today’s Home Remedy: Pineapple Juice!

Just so Amanda doesn’t think that I spend my days basking in the glory of pickles, I did manage to find another home remedy that works pretty nicely!

Pineapple juice!

Also good for sore throats. Best ingested after heating to a really nice, hot temp. The heat works to soothe, and the juice works to kill bacteria! Plus, pineapple juice tastes great. You really can’t lose!

Today I have managed to rid myself of a sore throat, however, I feel like I am going to cough every 3 minutes, and I am getting a nice sinus headache. All this AND I have to work at a casino that my workplace is holding. This is pretty much a “CAN’T BACK OUT!” kind of deal, so I am stuck working 8pm-3am!

Luckily, my boss said I don’t have to come to work tomorrow! Wohoo! That’s a bonus, considering I doubt that staying up until 3am with a cold will help me out!

I am woozy on cold medication. As such I will let you all know that I think the “Neverending Story” would have been at least 100X more awesome if they rode a giant pug instead of the fluff dragon. I still enjoy the fluff dragon though.

I would totally pay to see a movie with a giant flying pug!! I would even volunteer my Winston to be a breeding prototype, provided he does not need his manhood to participate.

The pineapple thing is something I could really get into – whew! You saved the day! I no longer think about the pickle grossness!!

Dude…. I don’t think I have been able to stay up til 3am in YEARS. That sucks, especially with the cold kicking butt. BUT, good luck and hopefully all goes well tonight.

PS – the neverendingstory was my favoritist movie when I was a kid.

I LOVE the Neverending Story, or at least I did when I was a kid. That dragon actually looks exactly like the dog I had growing up. Seriously, the face is the same…no wings, obviously, though that would have been cool.

Sorry you’re sick. I had strep a couple of weeks ago and it sucked. How are you going to stay up that late?

Such a good movie! But yes, a pug probably would have been cuter and it could have been used to fight that nasty “Nothing” (wolf) with sneezes and snorts!

Feel better soon! At least the meds should make the casino more interesting. Just don’t operate any heavy machinery.

here’s another interesting fact about pinneapple. if you’re feeling rather bloated after a substantial meal, consuming sliced pinneapple afterwards will make you feel less full thanks to their special enzymes.

The fluff dragon isn’t a giant pug? Dangit! All this time I thought it was a giant pug!

I have never watched the never ending story in it’s entirety.

The title puts me off, as does the scene of a unicorn being absorbed into a swamp.

    Hang on…
