First off, I think I should have posted a photo of the fluff dragon on my last post, so here you go:

Excellent. I love that dude. I just want to give him a big hug!

Anyhow, I spent about seven hours in a gross, smoke-filled casino in this really weird part of the city, and it was bananas!

First of all, casino goers are a strange brew of human beings! It’s really exactly how you’d expect it to be. It just seems like there are a lot of broken dreams hanging in the air! At one point a speaker had busted and was emitting a really loud screech, and for some reason people were still all about playing “their” machines that were RIGHT under the slot machines. That is some serious commitment to gambling!

One of the dudes I volunteered with looked like an ogre! He was pretty scary. Lots of moles and tiny little eyes! EeeeeP!

Other than that, it was just a lot of smoke, lots of gambling, and a lot of greasy food! Blech!

Also, did you hear that all that pet food was poisoned by RAT POISON?!

I agree, casinos are full of really sad, broken people. It’s uncomfortable to just be in there with them.

Yay for the dragon! Aw, he really does look just like Lemmle, (pronounced lem-LEE) the wheaten terrier-poodle mix I grew up with *sniff*

How the NB working out? I don’t think I’ll ever switch, especially after that rat poisoning scare.

whoops, actually stress is on the first syllable…LEM-lee. I’m such a nerd for even explaining that, haha! Can you tell I’ve studied linguistics?

Natural Balance is working really well! They are both eating it up and no one has thrown up! Wohoo!

    Casino’s are indeed odd.

I like a game of poker, but only amongst friends.

Casino’s in Bristol really lack the Glamour of their Hollywood counterparts.

    I really can’t understand gambling… I think I lack that risk-taking gene.
I once gambled $5 in slot machines, and then felt dirty because I’d wasted my money. I could have gotten a far more fulfilling sandwich!
