Happy Earth Day!

LMizzle's wishlist

Here are some environmentally friendly things I thought I’d share. By doing little things we can create big change!

*When you buy one liter of water at the store, you’re actually buying about six liters of water. That’s because when manufacturers make plastic bottles, it takes five liters of water to cool the plastic.
*If everyone left their ATM receipts in the machine, it would save a roll of paper more than 2 billion feet long—enough to circle the equator more than 15 times.
*To make your chores even more environmentally friendly, use microfiber cloths from a company like Method to apply the products to your furniture, counters and sinks. These cleaning cloths are machine washable and recyclable!
*If every family replaced one bulb with a compact fluorescent lightbulb, it would be like reducing carbon emissions from 800,000 cars.

Also, for all you dog owners:
The Biobag Dog Waste Bags -Biodegradable and Compostable
These BioBag Pet Waste Bags are 100% Biodegradable and 100% Compostable.

BioBag Dog Waste Bags help to make cleaning up after Fido a little more earth friendly. Made from cornstarch, these bags help to eliminate regular plastic bags from our environment. When disposed, BioBags will biodegrade as naturally as food scraps, leaving no harmful residue.

No Polyethylene
No Polyethylene is used in the production of this product. BioBag waste bags are GMO free, certified for use in organic agriculture, yet are shelf stable – just like paper towels.

Let’s all try and be a little nicer to Mother Earth, no?

I agree wholeheartedly. I don’t ask for a receipt at the ATM or gast stations and I’ve started to become much more strict with my family about recycling.

Isn’t it so upsetting to think about our great-grandchildren never being able to see those animals featured in that video? Although you could probably care less about the whales, right? Hehehe

Well, while I am terrified of whales, I know they serve a purpose…KILLING! I kid.
