My Biggest Fan

Does anyone else ever have this problem?

Because it’s raining today I figured it’s time to turn off the ceiling fan in my kitchen. Sadly this is where the battle of a lifetime BEGINS!!!!

I had the light turned off, so that when I turned it on the fan began to swirl, but there’s like 5 speed settings on the fan and just this small chain to keep pulling like a jackass because I have no idea what speed setting the fan is on!!! I’m just cranking my neck in a desperate attempt to shut off the cool flow of air! GET AWAY FROM ME, SUMMERTIME PROBLEMS!!!

Ugh. In conclusion, the fan is still going.

Don’t forget you have to change the rotation of the fan in the winter so that the warm air gets moved up. So, it’s clock-wise for warm, counter clock-wise in the summer to push the warm air down… or wait, is it counter-clock wise in the winter… which way is counter clock-wise? Do you face north first?

Forget it. Just turn off the breaker and keep a candle burning.

Shoot the fan with a Magnum .357

This is how Yosemite Sam would solve the problem and he is a fully qualified counsellor.

HAHAHHA, oh man. Well I finally got the fan turned off, but now it doesn’t really seem like the heater is working…

Perhaps I WILL have to light a candle….then maybe shoot it.
