What the???

While trying to find out more information about the riots in France, I managed to discover that yesterday China unveiled the mascots for its Olympics.
I guess the word on the street is that the whole mascot thing has been going way downhill for a long time. I’m not sure what any of these things are except the panda…I’m also not sure whether to hug them or run away screaming…

Either way, the green one looks like it’s having a pretty good time!

Fuck man, What the heck is it with olympic mascots looking like they were created on the worst acid trips in history?!

How about a fucking Panda bear China? Is that so hard? China = Panda’s! He could even be doing various sports. There we go. I just made a million dollars and saved some LSD.

There IS a panda in that photo! They just went like WAY overboard and added like 4 other characters to distract you from the hidden panda.

These are the latest incarnations of the Might Morphine Para-Rangers.

Their drunken, drugged up, heroic exploits will inspire olympians everywhere to excell in whatever they do.

As long as it’s not drink and drugs.

I saw these absurd things in the paper, and if I can remember I think that they are: A fish, a panda, the flame of olympic spirit, a Tibetan antelope and a swallow.

And they all have silly little names like Beibei (the fish), Jingjing (the panda), Huanhuan (spirit of the the Olympic flame), Yingying (the Tibetan antelope) and Nini (the swallow).
